Ah fuck- “No- well yes but I can handle it ok?!” She was miserably failing at keeping up her usually calm demeanour- now she had both of her boys upset. Just perfect.

He’s pacing, making a visible effort to calm down but it doesn’t seem to be helping much. He needs something to do, something to distract him or divert his anger or he didn’t want to think about what would happen.
