“Shit, are you bleeding?!”

“I’m fine, Dax. I’ve been through worse.”

“…that doesn’t automatically make ya fine, ya bozo!” Daxter whapped the back of Jak’s head with one hand, earning a low grumble in protest. “Shut up and lift yer arm, lemme see-”

He hissed in sympathy at the sight of the wound, ears lowering. “Right. Yeah, yer bleedin’ alright. Hold still, bud. I’ll get some o'the green stuff and we’ll see what we can do about it.” A moment later Daxter returned as he’d promised, a vial of Green Eco salve in his hands. 

“This’s gonna sting- whoaa!” Daxter froze as the salve glowed where it contacted Jak’s skin. The teen hissed and tensed up, but soon relaxed, the light from the salve flowing into the wound and healing it within a minute. Jak glanced to Daxter, eyes wide.

“….what just happened?”

“Well, does the salve normally glow when ya touch it?”

“….no. Why?”

“…you might wanna look at this, pal. I think ya got yer Eco-channelin’ mojo back.”
